Men’s cross country team finishes 32nd at NCAA Great Lakes Regional
SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – The Olivet College men’s cross country team finished 32nd (of 37 schools) at the 2021 NCAA Great Lakes Regional Meet. Franklin (Ind.) College hosted the meet at the Blue River Cross Country Course.

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – The Olivet College men's cross country team finished 32nd (of 37 schools) at the 2021 NCAA Great Lakes Regional Meet. Franklin (Ind.) College hosted the meet at the Blue River Cross Country Course.
- Olivet had 871 points to place ahead of fellow Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association members Alma, Albion and Kalamazoo colleges.
- John Carroll (Ohio) University won the regional title to earn the automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championship.
- Alex Phillip from John Carroll was the individual race winner, as he finished in 24:27.4.
- Senior Dustin Rutter posted Olivet's fastest time at 27:26 to place 131st of 266 runners. The time was a personal best.
- Junior Chase Mendham completed the 8K race in 27:38.5.
- Sophomore Hunter Hillard clocked-in at 27:46.7.
- Senior Kyle McDowell race the race in 28:59.9.
- Freshman Kayden Shrock finished in 30:49.7.
