The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams competed today at the Case Western Reserve University Bill Sudeck Invitational at the Squire Farm in Valley View, Ohio.
The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams competed today at the Case Western Reserve University Bill Sudeck Invitational at the Squire Farm in Valley View, Ohio.
The men finished in seventh place (out of 10 teams) with 184 points. Individually, sophomore Jeremy Shephard (Kalamazoo/ Mattawan High School) placed 20th and finished the 8,000 meter course in 28:26. Following Shephard were junior Rob Dodson (Elsie/Ovid-Elsie High School) in 28:55, sophomore Andrew Lapham (South Lyon High School) in 29:08, junior Chad Kaiser (Lachine/ Alpena High School) in 29:49, sophomore Dan Kimball (National City/Oscoda High School) in 30:28, freshman Jardon Stuchell (Jonesville High School) in 31:00 and junior Kevin Kreh (Kinde/Huron High School) in 32:25.
On the women's side, sophomore Rachel Strelecki (Sterling/ Standish-Sterling High School) completed the 5,000-meter course in 23:21. Following Strelecki were freshman Mehgan Sanson (Brown City High School) in 24:24, senior Larissa Kequom (Charlotte High School) in 26:26 and freshman Denisha Sanders (Detroit/Pershing High School) in 28:53.
Olivet will next run on Saturday, Sept. 13 when it participates in the Lebanon Valley College Invitational in Annville, Pa.
