Men’s Volleyball: Olivet denied by Siena Heights in three sets

ADRIAN, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's volleyball team lost in three sets to Siena Heights University this evening at the SHU Fieldhouse. The Saints won by scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-21.
- Final Score: Siena Heights defeated Olivet 25-13, 25-18, 25-21

- Records: Olivet 2-9 overall, Siena Heights 2-1 overall
- The Saints led both the first and second sets from start-to-finish.
- In the third set, Siena Heights held a 3-1 lead before the Comets used two aces and took advantage of two Saint attack errors to go ahead 5-3. Siena Heights came back to even the score at 5-5. The teams traded points to seven more tied scores. After the last one at 12-12, the Saints had three straight kills for a 15-12 lead. They did not relinquish their advantage for the rest of the set.
- Senior Quinn Dickerson provided 15 points on nine kills, four aces and two blocks.
- Senior Will Mensching was next with four kills.
- Senior Everett Haynes tallied 16 set assists.
- Sophomore Matthew Tollar recorded a team-leading nine digs.
- Olivet heads to Ohio, Saturday for two matches at Hiram College. The Comets play Arcadia (Pa.) University at 10:30 a.m., followed by a match against the host Terriers.
