UOlivet men place eighth at Wooster Invitational

WOOSTER, Ohio – The University of Olivet men's outdoor track and field team was eighth at the College of Wooster (Ohio) Invitational. The Comets tallied 52 points. John Carroll (Ohio) University won the team title with 132.5 points.
FOR THE COMETS
- Freshman Yrral Campbell placed second and recorded the sixth-best mark in UOlivet history in the discus throw (140 feet, 11 inch).
- Olivet had three runners record all-time Top 10 times in the 3,000-meter steeplechase – Brenden Castillo (sixth, 10:38.50), Luke Senters (eighth, 10:43.95) and Kutter VanAken (10th, 10:58.04).
- Sophomore Kyle Redd placed fourth in the 100-meter dash (11.06)
- Sophomore Austin Cole finished third in the shot put (45 feet, 2-1/4 inches)
