Brown earns All-American honors, caps stellar career at 2024 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – With an eighth-place finish in the 400-meter dash, The University of Olivet senior Jordan Brown secured All-American honors at the 2024 Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. He clocked-in with a time of 47.51 seconds.
The race ended a stellar career for the sprinter. Brown's career is filled with a lot of firsts for not only the Olivet men's track and field program but also the university itself. His notable accomplishments include:
- Two-time NCAA All-American in track and field (2024 indoors in 200m, 2024 outdoors in 400m)
- Three-time USTFCCCA All-American in track and field (2024 indoors in 200m and 400m, 2024 outdoors in 400m)
- Four-time All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men's outdoor track & field selection
- Four-time All-MIAA men's indoor track & field selection
- Two-time MIAA Most Valuable Indoor Track athlete (2023, 2024)
- Only eight-time All-MIAA selection in school history
- Only three-time MIAA MVP in school history
- Only student-athlete in school history to win the same event at four straight MIAA Championships (400m dash in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024)
- Only student-athlete in school history to win more than 10 individual events at MIAA Championships (five indoors, seven outdoors)
- Only student-athlete to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships five times (2024, 2023, 2022 outdoors; 2023, 2024 indoors)
- Holds school indoor records in 60-meter (6.90), 200-meter (21.64) and 400-meter (47.73). Ran legs of school indoor records in 4x400-meter, 4x800-meter, and distance medley relays.
- Holds school outdoor records in 200-meter (21.02), 400-meter (47.19) and long jump (23'6"). Ran legs of school outdoor records in 4x100-meter and 4x800-meter relays.
- Holds MIAA championship indoor record in 200-meter dash, and outdoor championship records in the 200- and 400-meter dashes.
