Brown runs in 400-meter dash, misses finals at 2023 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Olivet College senior Jordan Brown ran a preliminary time of 47.82 seconds in the 400-meter dash at the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Championships inside the Polisseni Track & Field Complex in Rochester, New York. The time placed him 16th of 22 runners to miss the cut for the finals of the race.

Today's competition caps an incredible 2022-23 track and field season for Brown. He was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Indoor and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year after winning the 200- and 400-meter dashes at both championships. Brown broke the school indoor and outdoor records in the 200 and 400. In addition, he is the first male track and field student-athlete in school history to compete in the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the same academic year.
