One school record and three personal bests posted at St. Francis Last Chance Meet

JOLIET, Ill. – A select group of Olivet College track and field student-athletes competed today at the University of St. Francis (Ill.) Last Chance Meet. Three personal bests, including one school record, was set by the Comets.

On her first throw, senior Lillian Albaugh broke the school record in the shot put with a 44 foot, 7 inch toss. The personal-best mark moves her to No. 21 on the NCAA Division III Performance List.

Senior Kyle McDowell and junior Jordon Brown finished 2-4 in the 400-meter dash. McDowell's time, 48.59 seconds, is a personal best. Brown clocked-in at 49.17 seconds.

Sophomore Hayden Germain placed fourth in the 1,500-meter run with a personal best time of 4:02.72.
