Men’s track and field team is second at Charles Gray Invitational
ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s track and field team turned in a second-place finish at the 2021 Charles Gray Invitational, hosted by Alma College and at Bahlke Field.

ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College men's track and field team turned in a second-place finish at the 2021 Charles Gray Invitational, hosted by Alma College and at Bahlke Field.
- Sophomore Jordon Brown won the 200-meter dash (:22.63) and was second in the long jump (6.56 meters).
- Freshman Hayden Germain led a 1-3-4 Olivet finish in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:10.32. Freshman Cameron Smith was third at 4:25.37, followed by freshman Hunter Hillard in fourth at 4:31.26.
- The 4x400-meter relay quartet of Germain, senior Tyler Peck, Brown and sophomore Zac Schneck ran the fastest time by nearly 10 seconds at 3:25.44.
- Sophomore Paul Muir needed the judge's decision to take the top spot in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 3.95 meters.
- Peck finished second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.59 seconds.
- Sophomore Chase Mendham had the second-fastest time in the 800-meter run at 2:03.64.
- Sophomore John C Downey leaped 11.77 meters to place second in the triple jump.
- Senior Jacob Smith placed second in the shot put (15.62 meters) and third in the discus throw (41.25 meters).
- Sophomore Jordon Butler was third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.91 seconds.
- Senior Jaden Costa crossed the finish line third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:29.30.
