Quote from head track and field coach Karen Lutzke:
- "Noah Bailey was not only an outstanding athlete but also an outstanding person. Everything he did was with intent and purpose. Noah was a two-year track and field captain and became one of the most decorated track and field athletes in school history. He was a national qualifier in the triple jump, scored in the MIAA meet in long jump, triple jump, 4x100-meter relay, 4x400-meter relay, 200-meter and 400-meter. He ran cross country to make himself better for the track season the past two years. Noah is a multiple-time All MIAA champion as well as earning multiple All-Region honors in track and field. Noah was good because he put his heart into doing the training day in and day out, not just because he was talented. We will all miss Noah's ability to make us laugh, eat all the food, and show us how to be better people by his example he sets everyday."
Editor's Note: The COVID-19 pandemic caused the abrubt end to winter and spring sports for the 2019-20 academic year. We are not able to host Senior Day ceremonies to thank these seniors for their dedication to their chosen sport. As a result, we will be posting senior salutes like above for each senior over the coming weeks.
