ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Alma College today outdoors at Superior Street Tennis Complex.

Records: Olivet 0-5 overall, 0-5 MIAA; Alma 2-6 overall, 1-3 MIAA
- The Comets led 2-1 after doubles play. The Scots won the six singles for the 7-2 win.
- The No. 1 doubles team of sophomore Gabe Hand and senior Benjamin Morrow posted an 8-6 pro-set win.
- The No. 3 doubles duo of juniors Kjeil Dickinson and Sam Vondra won the tiebreaker, 7-5, to win the pro-set, 8-7.
- Hand lost tough 6-3, 7-5 decision at No. 1 singles.
- At No. 6 singles, Dickinson claimed a 6-2 win in the first set before his opponent won the second set 7-5 and match tie-breaker, 10-8.
- The Comets are off until Saturday, April 23, when they host Trine (Ind.) University. First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m. The location of the match will be determined closer to the date of competition.
