Men’s tennis team defeats Grace Christian, 8-1
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s tennis team defeated Grace Christian University, 8-1, today at the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek. With the win, the Comets end non-conference play with a 4-4 overall record.

- The Cougars had only four players at the match. Thus, Olivet earned default wins at No. 3 doubles, as well as No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
- The Comets won the two contested doubles flights, and three of the four contested singles flights.
- The No. 1 doubles tandem of sophomore Kjeil Dickinson and senior Benjamin Morrow cruised to an 8-1 win.
- The No. 2 doubles duo of freshman Jake Dickinson and senior Caleb Graham posted an 8-5 victory.
- At No. 2 singles, Kjeil Dickinson did not lose any games to win 6-0, 6-0.
- At No. 3 singles, Jake Dickinson had a 6-3, 6-0 win.
- At No. 4 singles, Graham won 7-5, 6-4.
- The Comets are on the road to play Adrian College in their first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association match next Saturday, March 27. First serves are scheduled for 12 p.m.
