ALBION, Mich. – The Olivet College men's tennis team opened the spring portion of its 2016-17 schedule with a 9-0 loss to Greenville (Ill.) College this afternoon in a neutral site match indoors at Albion College's Dow Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers swept the three doubles matches, losing only five total games.
- Greenville won all six singles matches in straight sets.
FOR THE COMETS
- Freshman Tyler Nobel had the most success for Olivet. After dropping the first set, 6-2, he narrowly lost the second set, 7-5, at No. 5 singles. In doubles, Nobel teamed with sophomore Michael Tran for an 8-3 loss at the No. 3 slot.
- Freshman Aaron Green suffered a 6-4, 6-3 loss at No. 2 singles.
