Men’s swimming posts 1-1 record at Bethel double dual

ELKHART, Ind. – The Olivet College men's swimming & diving team traveled to Elkhart, Indiana, for a non-conference double dual against Bethel (Ind.) and Manchester (Ind.) universities. The Comets won 135-126 over Manchester but lost 227-58 to the host Pilots.

• Sophomore Seth Kading finished second in the 100-yard backstroke (57.31).
• Senior Carter Moore posted the second-fastest time in the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.89).
• Senior Takato Timmerman placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.80).
• Sophomore Treyton Gabrielson clocked-in third quick in the 1,650-yard freestyle (19:08.16).
• Sophomore Landon Morgan was third in the 200-yard butterfly (2:19.23).
• The 400-yard freestyle quartet of Moore, Kading, senior Dylan Lyons and Morgan touched second (3:24.21).

• The Comets wrap-up the dual meet portion of its schedule next Saturday, January 25, at Albion College.
