Swimming & diving teams place sixth and eighth at Carthage Classic
KENOSHA, Wis. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams competed at the 2022 Carthage Classic, held at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center. The Comet men were sixth of eight schools, and the Olivet women were eighth of nine schools. All events were timed finals.

KENOSHA, Wis. – The Olivet College men's and women's swimming & diving teams competed at the 2022 Carthage Classic, held at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center. The Comet men were sixth of eight schools, and the Olivet women were eighth of nine schools. All events were timed finals.
- Men – 6th-place with 817 points
- Women – 8th-place with 715 points
- The Carthage men's team captured the team title with 2,477 points.
- The Lake Forest (Ill.) College women's team won the team title with 2,199 points.
- Sophomore Landon Morgan finished fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:17.10) and sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.15).
- Senior Carter Moore was sixth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.79) and eighth in the 100-yard freestyle (48.54).
- Junior Dylan Lyons scored ninth-place points in the 100-yard backstroke (56.74).
- Junior Jennifer Mann won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:25.07. She also placed second in the 200-yard individual medley (2:14.14) and fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.05). The 200 IM time is a personal-best.
- Freshman Bridgette Shroll finished fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:20.75), and fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.41) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:32.25).
- Freshman Sarah Steffens took fourth in the 200-yard butterfly (2:17.53) and fifth in the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.26).
- Olivet is back in action Saturday, January 14, 2023, when it hosts Alma College.
