Men’s swimming & diving team falls at Kalamazoo, 128-100
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s swimming & diving team fell to Kalamazoo College, 128-100, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association dual meet today at the K College Natatorium.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Olivet College men's swimming & diving team fell to Kalamazoo College, 128-100, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association dual meet today at the K College Natatorium.
- Olivet got off to a fast start, as the 200-yard medley relay team of sophomore Dylan Lyons, junior Takato Timmerman, junior Jacob Ritter and junior Carter Moore finished first in 1:41.89.
- Freshman Treyton Gabrielson scored first-place points in the 1,650-yard freestyle (18:31.55) and second-place points in the 500-yard freestyle (5:17.32).
- Freshman Seth Kading touched first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.17) and second in the 100-yard backstroke (58.40).
- Timmerman had the fastest time in the 50-yard freestyle (21.97) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.63).
- Freshman Gavin Sutton won the 1-meter diving (250.58 points) and 3-meter diving (253.42 points).
- Ritter placed second in the 100-yard butterfly (55.07).
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team quartet of Kading, Ritter, Moore and junior Chris Smith was second in 1:32.84.
- Olivet hosts Albion College for its final dual meet next Saturday, February 5. The first event gets started at 1 p.m. from the Upton Center Pool.
