Men’s swimming & diving team sweeps double dual at Manchester
N. MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Olivet College men’s swimming & diving teams swept a double dual meet today at Manchester (Ind.) University and at the Strauss-Peabody Aquatic Center. The Comets beat the host Spartans, 215.5-46.5, and Anderson (Ind.) University, 173-104.

N. MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Olivet College men's swimming & diving teams swept a double dual meet today at Manchester (Ind.) University and at the Strauss-Peabody Aquatic Center. The Comets beat the host Spartans, 215.5-46.5, and Anderson (Ind.) University, 173-104.
- Junior Parker Brown finished first in the 500-yard freestyle (5:17.17).
- Freshman Seth Kading earned wins in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.10) and 200-yard backstroke (2:08.94).
- Junior Carter Moore had the fastest time in the 100-yard freestyle (51.41)
- Junior Sebastian O'Leary touched first in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:06.43).
- Junior Takato Timmerman swept the breaststroke events, winning the 100 in 1:01.38 and 200 in 2:21.04.
- Olivet claimed wins in both relays. The 400-yard medley relay quartet of Kading, Timmerman, junior Jacob Ritter and Moore posted a time of 3:45.97. The same four swimmers clocked-in at 3:22.09 in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
- The Comets are off until Thursday-Saturday, December 2-4 when they compete at the Carthage (Wis.) College Classic Invitational. Thursday's events are finals only at 6 p.m. CT, while Friday's and Saturday's events include morning preliminaries at 9 a.m. CT and evening finals at 5 p.m. CT.
