Swimming teams compete against Albion and Hope
HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming teams competed against Albion and Hope colleges tonight at the Holland Aquatic Center.

HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College men's and women's swimming teams competed against Albion and Hope colleges tonight at the Holland Aquatic Center. The women fell to Albion, 188-60, and Hope, 174-67. The men lost 178-77 to Albion, and 180-68 to Hope.
- Freshman Jennifer Mann won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:57.44, which ties for the third-fastest mark in school history. In an exhibition heat of the 400-yard individual medley, she posted the second-quickest time in school history at 4:49.80.
- Sophomore Takato Timmerman placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.82) and 50-yard freestyle (:22.68).
- Freshman Dylan Lyons won his heat to finish in sixth-place in the 100-yard backstroke (1:01.58).
- Sophomore Sebastian O'Leary was fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:20.69).
- Olivet is back in tomorrow when the women host Hillsdale College. The Comet men will also participate in the meet. Action gets started at 1 p.m. from the Upton Center Pool. A reminder that spectators are not allowed to attend the meet.
