Beckwith qualifies for NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships
Olivet College junior Kellen Beckwith (Farmington Hills/North Farmington) received word today that his qualifying time has given him the chance to compete at the 2010 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships March 17-20 at the University of Minnesota.

Olivet College junior Kellen Beckwith (Farmington Hills/North Farmington) received word today that his qualifying time has given him the chance to compete at the 2010 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships March 17-20 at the University of Minnesota.
Beckwith posted a provisional qualifying time of 51.13 seconds in the 100-yard backstroke. It was the 18th fastest time in the NCAA this season. Beckwith will also compete in the 200-yard backstroke at the national championships.
At the 2009 NCAA Championships, Beckwith earned All-American honors with an eighth-place finish in the 100 backstroke. By doing so, he became the first male swimmer in school history to earn All-American honors.
