The Comets posted four individual winners. Junior Kellen Beckwith (Farmington Hills/North Farmington) led from start-to-finish in the 100 backstroke (:53.45). Freshman Brock Jackson (Sturgis) led an Olivet 1-2-3 finish in the 100 freestyle. His time was 49.25 seconds, following him were junior Mike Harden (St. Johns) in 49.93 seconds and sophomore Austin Munn (Pinckney) in 50 seconds.
In the 100 butterfly, freshman Joel Knight (Battle Creek/Lakeview) took first-place in 53.96 seconds, while junior Rafe Maxwell (Bay City/Western) was second in 54.27 seconds. The 200 butterfly was the reverse, as Maxwell won the race in 2:01.05 and Knight placed second in 2:03.86.
Harden also finished second in the 50 freestyle (:22.41). Beckwith was the runner-up finisher in the 200 backstroke (2:01.91). Both relays also took second-place.
Olivet is now idle until Saturday, Dec. 5, when it participates in the Calvin College Invitational.
