The Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team cruised to a 162-76 win against Ohio Northern University today in a non-conference dual meet at Hillsdale College.

The Comets took first-place in 10-of-13 events. Nick Stone (Westland/John Glenn) was a double winner, finishing first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.92) and 200-yard backstroke (2:04.91).
The other first-place finishers included Nathan Busscher (Hamilton/Holland Christian), 500-yard freestyle (5:01.46); Yury Bylina (Minsk, Belarus), 200-yard butterfly (2:01.67); Ananta Fetters (Fennville/Holland), 100-yard freestyle (:49.79); Justin Hulsebos (Wayland), one-meter diving (246.45); Sam Jaffee (Bowling Green, Ohio), 1,000-yard freestyle (10:28.30); Ryan Key (Phoenix, Ariz./Brophy Prep), 200-yard breaststroke (2:17.72); and Mitch Powers (Kalamazoo/Central), 50-yard freestyle (:22.55);
In addition, Olivet's 400-yard medley relay team of Busscher, Powers, Dustin Meisner (Temperance/Erie Mason) and Koji Takahashi (Etobicoke, Ontario/ Silverthorn) clocked-in first at 3:43.40.
The Comets resume their Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association schedule next Saturday, Nov. 18 by hosting Albion College at 1 p.m.
