Bio

Josh Rosendale is in his second season as an assistant men's soccer coach at The University of Olivet in 2023. He joined the men's soccer staff for the 2022 season after graduating from Olivet in 2021.

Rosendale graduated as one of the best players to play for the Olivet men's soccer program.  He finished with a fifth year in 2021 due to COVID panedmic. He earned All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Second Team honors after finishing in fourth during MIAA play for goals scored.  Rosendale ended his Olivet career tied for third in goals scored (26), third in total shots (187), fourth in shots on goal (83) and fourth in total games started (73).  He scored seven game-winning goals in his career, including three in the fall 2021 season. The last being was a hat-trick in the regular season finale against Adrian College (October 27, 2021).

"Having played for Doug and Ross for my junior and senior year, I was impressed by the new direction the program," said Rosendale. "It only seemed a natural progression to join the coaching staff - I am looking forward to the new role and helping the program achieve new heights in the coming years."

A native of Dimondale and graduate of Holt High School, Rosendale graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Olivet.

"Josh was a fantastic player for this program, but more importantly he set a fantastic example for the young players in our program as a captain and natural leader," said Olivet head coach Doug Carter. "I am thrilled to have an Olivet grad on the staff and believe he will help raise our program both on and off the field."
