ALBION, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's soccer team battled back from down a goal to draw Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College, 1-1, today on Alumni Field and inside the Davis Athletic Complex.

- Records: Olivet 1-3-6 overall, 0-0-2 MIAA; Albion 6-3-1 overall, 1-0-1 MIAA
- After a scoreless first half, the Britons dented the scoreboard in the 75th minute on Brayden Stavros' first goal of the season.
- The Comets evened the score with 2:50 left in the contest. Senior Noah Runnals was fouled inside the box. Freshman Djimo Kouyate missed the penalty kick. The keeper knocked away the ball before Kouyate gathered rebound and sent the ball into the net.
- Both teams recorded 13 shots, but Olivet had the 9-4 advantage in shots-on-goal.
- Kouyate tallied a team-leading four shots, with each one being placed on-frame.
- Sophomore Carter Scheel and junior Zachary Stephan registered two shots apiece.
- Freshman Nicholas Van Port Fleet made three saves, while playing all 90 minutes in goal.
- Olivet is on the road to play Trine (Ind.) University next Wednesday, October 11, at 4 p.m.
