OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men's soccer team lost 4-1 to Rochester University today at the Cutler Athletic Complex.
- Final Score: Rochester 4, Olivet 1
- Location: Cutler Athletic Complex; Olivet, Michigan
- Records: Rochester 4-2-0 overall, Olivet 0-4-1 overall
- The Warriors netted the first goal in the 10th minute.
- The score stayed 1-0 at halftime despite a couple solid scoring chances for the Comets.
- Olivet was able to even the score in the 62nd minute. Senior Noah Runnals passed the ball from the right side of the field over into the box at the near post. Senior Kjeil Dickinson was able to get a head on the ball and send it into the net after a couple bounces.
- Rochester scored the go-ahead goal in the 71st minute.
- The Warriors added another goal 10 minutes later before capping the scoring with a goal with just seven seconds left in the game.
- Olivet recorded 13 shots compared to 15 for the Warriors. Both teams had nine shots-on-goal.
- Senior Dominik Burmeister and sophomore Carter Scheel tallied three shots apiece.
- Junior Carlos Santos suffered the loss in goal.
- Luis Kolechi scored twice and assisted on a third goal.
- Dmitar Stankovic and Matheus Leonel had one goal each.
- Stankovic recorded a game-high six shots.
- Kris Tauzik claimed the win in goal, as he collected eight saves.
- Olivet is at Anderson (Ind.) University Saturday for a non-conference game, starting at 1 p.m.
