Men’s soccer team ties Albion, 1-1, in double overtime

ALBION, Mich. – The Olivet College men's soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College tonight at the Davis Athletic Complex.

• Senior Joshua Rosendale made a penalty kick goal in the ninth minute.
• The score remained 1-0 at halftime.
• The Britons scored the equalizer in the 58th minute.
• Both teams had chances to score a golden goal in the extra periods but failed to put the ball past the keeper.

• Rosendale led Olivet with five shots.
• Senior Andrew Aragon played all 110 minutes in goal, faced 22 shots and made 11 saves.

• Nick Miller scored the goal and Stefan Isaevski earned the assist.
• Spencer Moeggenberg and Zabith Wilson tallied three shots a piece.
• Anton Favre collected two saves in goal.

• Olivet hosts Kalamazoo College Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m. The game will be played at the Olivet Community Schools Stadium.
