OLIVET, Mich. – Playing its first home in more than a year, the Olivet College men’s soccer team fell to preseason Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) favorite Calvin University, 5-0, this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex.

OLIVET, Mich. – Playing its first home in more than a year, the Olivet College men's soccer team fell to preseason Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) favorite Calvin University, 5-0, this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex.

Records: Olivet 2-2-0 overall, 1-2-0 MIAA; Calvin 4-1 overall, 3-0-0 MIAA
- The Knights scored the only goal they would need in the fourth minute.
- Calvin added another goal in the first half on a penalty kick in the 14th minute.
- The Knights tallied another goal just 48 seconds into the second half, and capped the scoring with goals in the 56th and 74th minutes.
- Olivet had just three shots, including two by senior Joshua Rosendale.
- Junior Andrew Aragon was the losing goalkeeper. He made four saves in 86 minutes in goal.
- Jack Kilgallon and Shay Smith each tallied two goals.
- Luca Seazzu scored once.
- Jack Kilgallon and Seamus Killgallon recorded three shots apiece.
