Jin Lee scores only goal in men’s soccer team’s 1-0 win at Hope

Freshman Bung Jin Lee (Kentwood/East Kentwood) scored in the 19th minute, as the Olivet College men's soccer team upset Hope College, 1-0, this afternoon at the Van Andel Soccer Stadium in Holland. Hope entered the game No. 4 in the NSCAA Central Region rankings.
Junior Mike May (Mason) and freshman Daniel Casey-Dunn (Lansing/Lansing Catholic) each earned an assist on the goal. Olivet had only three shots in the game, and the only one on-goal found the back of the net. The Flying Dutchmen peppered the goal with 13 shots. Junior Ethan Felsing (Mason) made six saves en route to his fourth shutout this season.
The Comets (7-4-1, 3-2-1 MIAA) will play two home games next week. The first is Tuesday at 4 p.m. against Alma College, and the second is next Saturday at 2:30 p.m. against Adrian College to begin second half of their league schedule.
