The Olivet College men's soccer team was defeated by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Adrian College, 2-0, tonight at the Multi-Sport Performance Stadium in Adrian.
Despite the Comets have an 18-5 advantage in shots, the Bulldogs were able to find the back of the net twice. Their first goal came in the 30th minute, and the second one was scored in the 74th minute.
Freshman Mike May (Mason) had a game-high four shots. Freshman Matt Manning (Charlotte) was next with three shots, followed by three other players with two shots a piece. Sophomore Ethan Felsing (Mason) played the entire game in goal and made two saves.
Olivet begins the second half of its round-robin league schedule Saturday when it travels to play Tri-State (Ind.) University at 2 p.m.
