The Olivet College men’s soccer team suffered a 3-1 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College tonight under the lights at Eaton Rapids High School.

The Olivet College men's soccer team suffered a 3-1 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College tonight under the lights at Eaton Rapids High School.
The Britons (5-6, 4-2 MIAA) took a 1-0 lead in the 35th minute and held at halftime. Albion extended its lead to 2-0 on a goal in the 53rd minute. The Comets (4-8, 2-4 MIAA) cut their deficit down to one goal in the 72nd minute. On a throw-in by junior Graham Lockwood (Haslett/ Williamston), sophomore Josh Van Wagner (Jackson/Lumen Christi) headed the ball into the goal. Albion sealed its win by scoring a goal at the 81:05 mark.
For the game, the Comets had 11 shots, including six by Van Wagner. In goal, sophomore Ethan Felsing (Mason) 10 shots and collected four saves.
Olivet will play its next four games on the road, beginning Tuesday against Adrian College at 6 p.m.
