Pringle named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV men’s soccer second-team
Olivet College senior midfielder Gabe Pringle (Grand Blanc) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV men’s soccer second-team as selected by College Sports Information Directors of America.
OLIVET, Mich. -- Olivet College senior midfielder Gabe Pringle (Grand Blanc) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV men's soccer second-team as selected by College Sports Information Directors of America. The District IV teams are selected by sports information directors in Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee.
Pringle, who has a 3.94 grade point average in insurance and risk management, has played in 15 games and scored eight points (three goals and two assists) for the Comets. He ranks second on the team with 39 shots, including a team-high 26 on-goal. Off the soccer field, Pringle was recently elected international student representative to the executive committee of the Grand Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma, an insurance, risk managment and actuarial science fraternity.
Olivet (8-10-1, 7-5-1 MIAA) travels to play Albion College in its season finale Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m.
