Men's soccer team loses to Albion, 6-2
The Olivet College men’s soccer team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College, 6-2, this afternoon at Alumni Field in Albion.

The Olivet College men's soccer team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College, 6-2, this afternoon at Alumni Field in Albion.
The Britons (6-5-1, 4-2-0 MIAA) jumped out to a 2-0 lead at the 15:36 mark. Junior Gabe Pringle (Grand Blanc High School) found the back of the net for the Comets (2-6-3, 0-6-0 MIAA) in the 26th minute. Albion tacked on another goal to make the score 3-1 at halftime.
In a span of just over the first four minutes of the second half, the Britons made two goals. Junior Rudy Pulido (Holt High School) scored an unassisted goal at the 51:35 mark.
For the game, Albion outshot the Comets, 25-5. Junior Will Drogt (Kewadin/Elk Rapids High School) started the game in goal and played the first 60:27, allowing six goals while making nine saves. Freshman keeper Michael Manning (Charlotte High School) finished the game and netted five saves.
Olivet is next in action when it hosts MIAA newcomer Tri-State (Ind.) University Thursday, Oct. 14 at 4 p.m.
