Olivet finishes third at Bluffton Beaver Fall Classic
BLUFFTON, Ohio – The University of Olivet men's golf team placed third at the 2024 Bluffton University Beaver Fall Classic. The two-day, 36-hole event took place at the Bluffton Golf Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets posted a two-round score of 618 strokes, with a 311 in the first round and 307 in the second round. The 307 was the lowest second-round team score.
- Anderson (Ind.) University captured the team title by one stroke over second-place Ohio Northern University, 608 to 609.
- Cam Moreland from Tiffin (Ohio) University earned medalist honors with a 146 (74-72).
FOR THE COMETS
- Freshman Zachary Pier had back-to-back 76s for a 152 to tie for sixth-place in the player standings.
- Sophomore Brady Applegate finished one stroke behind with a 153 (77-76) to place 10th. He ranked second for the tournament with eight birdies, including four on the front nine in today's round.
- Senior Connor Jewell shot a 158 (81-77).
- Sophomore Noah LaValley carded a 159 (81-78).
- Freshman Bradon Ellis completed his two rounds in 167 (77-90) strokes.
