Men’s Golf: Jewell leads Olivet at Heidelberg Snowball’s Chance Invitational

TIFFIN, Ohio – Junior Connor Jewell earned medalist honors to help The University of Olivet men's golf team finish in fourth-place at the Heidelberg (Ohio) University Snowball's Chance Invitational, held on a snowy and cold day at the Mohawk Golf & Country Club.

- The Comets carded a 347 team score.
- Ohio Northern University won the team title with a 317 team score, followed by the host Student Princes at 323 and Tiffin (Ohio) University at 333.
- Jewell shot a one-over par 73 for a career-best 18-hole score. He had a 37 on the front nine and 36 on the back nine.
- Freshman Noah LaValley tallied a 44 on the front nine and 46 on the back nine for a total of 90 strokes.
- Sophomore Mitchell Bair-Pollard and junior Colin Moore finished with matching 92s.
- Freshman Brady Applegate rounded out Olivet's lineup with a 95.
- Freshman Zachary Lull was an individual scorer and recorded an 83.
- Olivet competes at the Anderson (Ind.) University Invitational Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, at the Anderson Country Club.
