Men’s Golf: Olivet places eighth at MIAA Jamboree #2

MUSKEGON, Mich. –The University of Olivet men's golf team finished eighth at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #2, hosted by Calvin University and played at the Muskegon Country Club.

- The Comets carded a 353 team score.
- Adrian College edged Hope College for the team title by one stroke, 301 to 302.
- Will Webb from Hope was the medalist with a one under par 72.
- Freshman Brady Applegate had Olivet's low round with an 83 (43-40).
- Sophomore Mitchell Bair-Pollard shot an 89 (43-46).
- Junior Dylan Beck was next with a 90 (44-46).
- junior Connor Jewell carded a 91 (41-50).
- Freshman Noah LaValley posted a 95 (48-47).
- The Comets compete at the MIAA Jamboree #3 Saturday at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana. Trine University serves as the host school.
