Men’s golf team ties for seventh at MIAA Fall Finale
WYOMING, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s golf team concluded its fall schedule by tying for seventh-place at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Fall Finale. The 36-hole tournament was at the LE Kaufman Golf Course.

WYOMING, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team concluded its fall schedule by tying for seventh-place at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Fall Finale. The 36-hole tournament was at the LE Kaufman Golf Course.

- After shooting a 340 in yesterday's first round, the Comets dropped 14 strokes off their total in today's second round for a two-day total of 666 strokes.
- Hope College rallied from a five-stroke deficit after the first round to win by eight strokes over Adrian College, 596 to 604.
- Hendrik de Koning from Adrian was the tournament medalist with a five-under par 139 (68-71).
- Senior Wes Darrow topped Olivet with a two-day total of 160 strokes. He had the most improvement from day one (85) to day two (75).
- Junior Liam Carter shot a 165 (83-82) total.
- Sophomore Connor Jewell was next at 169 (82-87).
- Freshman Mitchell Bair-Pollard completed his two rounds in 172 (90-82) strokes.
- Junior Blake McLane posted a 187 (94-93).
