Men’s golf team finishes eighth at MIAA Jamboree #1
WEST OLIVE, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s golf team started the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) portion of its schedule by placing eighth today at the first league jamboree. Hope College hosted the event at the Wuskowhan Players Club.

WEST OLIVE, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team started the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) portion of its schedule by placing eighth today at the first league jamboree. Hope College hosted the event at the Wuskowhan Players Club.

- Course Info: Par 71 / 6,977 yards
- OC Team: 8th of 8 (+68)
- Top OC Individual: Mitchell Bair-Pollard (+13), T31 of 50
- Olivet posted a 352 team score.
- Hope took first-place with a 302 team score, which was five strokes better than runner-up Trine (Ind.) University.
- Carter Schnipke was the individual medalist with an even par 71.
- Freshman Mitchell Bair-Pollard had the team's low round with an 84.
- Senior Wes Darrow shot an 88.
- Junior Liam Carter was a stroke behind at 89.
- Sophomore Connor Jewell carded a 91. He had Olivet's lone birdie in the round, as he made a 3 on the par 4, 395-yard No. 1.
- Junior Blake McLane rounded out the Comet starting five with a 95.
- The next MIAA jamboree is Saturday at the Pine River Country Club in Alma.
