Men’s golf team ties for seventh at MIAA Jamboree #1
The Olivet College men’s golf team tied for seventh-place today at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #1. Hope College hosted the outing at the Wuskowhan Players Club in West Olive.

WEST OLIVE, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team tied for seventh-place today at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #1. Hope College hosted the outing at the Wuskowhan Players Club in West Olive.

Par / Yardage: 71 / 6,977 yards
- Olivet posted a 334 team score to tie Alma College.
- Trine (Ind.) University took first-place with a 296.
- Nick Knowlton from Trine was the individual medalist with an even par 71.
- Freshman Kurtis Wolfram had Olivet's best round with a two-over par 73 (37-36). His round featured three birdies, 10 pars and five bogies. The score put him in a seven-way tie for second-place in the player standings.
- Junior Nicholas Hoffman was next with an 83 (42-41).
- Freshman Isiah Strand carded an 88 (42-46).
- Junior Cameron Lemon completed his round in 90 (43-47) strokes.
- Freshman Wes Darrow rounded out the Comets' lineup with a 93 (47-46).
