Men’s golf team ends season with fourth-place finish at Gettig Invitational

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College men's golf team ended the 2013-14 season by placing fourth at the Bill Gettig Invitational, hosted by Trine (Ind.) University and played at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Ind.
The Comets finished with a 310 team score. Siena Heights University won the team championship with a 293, followed by Trine, 301; and Adrian College, 306.
Senior Nick Julian (Clinton Twp./Chippewa Valley) shared third-place in the player standings with a one-over par 73. Freshman Matt Sherry (Salem Twp./South Lyon) carded a 78, and sophomore Benjamin Hart (Rockford/Lowell) was a stroke behind with a 79. Freshman Joseph Gauck (Belding/Lowell) completed his round in 81 strokes. Freshman Zachary Gray (Uttica/East Detroit) posted a 95.
