Men’s golf team finishes in third-place at MIAA Jamboree #5
The Olivet College men’s golf team saw its winning streak come to an end with a third-place finish today at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #5. Trine (Ind.) University hosted the jamboree at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola. Despite the finish, Olivet maintains its lead in the MIAA seasonal standings.

The Comets posted a 293 team score. Trine was first with a 291, followed by Hope with a 292.
Leading the way for Olivet was freshman Drew Lasky (Marshall) with a 72. Sophomore Nick Harless (DeWitt) had a 73. Seniors Justin Lesansky (LaSalle, Ontario/International) and Eric Ross (Burlington, Ontario/International) each needed 74 strokes to complete their round. Senior Brock Gleadall (Stratford, Ontario/St. Michael's Catholic) shot a 76.
In the league seasonal standings, the Comets have a 22 stroke lead over Hope, 1,485-1,507. Trine is third with a 1,511.
The sixth MIAA jamboree is Monday at Hope's home course, Wuskowhan Players Club in West Olive.
