Dinner selected to participate in NCAA Division III National Men’s Golf Championships
Olivet College junior Mike Dinner (Oakville, Ontario/St, Ignatius of Loyola) has been selected to compete at the 2004 NCAA Division III National Men’s Golf Championships on May 10-13 at the PGA of Southern California Golf Club.
Olivet College junior Mike Dinner (Oakville, Ontario/St, Ignatius of Loyola) has been selected to compete at the 2004 NCAA Division III National Men's Golf Championships on May 10-13 at the PGA of Southern California Golf Club, which is being hosted by the University of Redlands. Dinner is one of five individuals along with 23 teams chosen by a national committee to participate.
Dinner earned first-team All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) honors after averaging 76.6 strokes in seven MIAA jamborees during the fall season. This spring, he had a 76.8 stroke average in six invitationals and 9.5 rounds.
"This is a great honor for Mike and our program," said Head Coach Gary Morrison. "Mike is the epitome of a college golfer in terms of his work ethic. He works really hard at improving all facets of his game."
