UOlivet tripped up at Wis.-Stevens Point, 73-36

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The University of Olivet men's basketball team was defeated by University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, 73-36, tonight on Bennett Court and inside the Quandt Fieldhouse. The Pointers are ranked No. 14 in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Wis.-Stevens Point scored the first 13 points in the game. That started helped the Pointers take a 38-16 halftime lead. Wis.-Stevens Point outscored the Comets, 35-20, in the second half to create the final score.

• Freshman Porter Kretschman paced Olivet with eight points and nine rebounds.
• Junior Evan Honnen made two three-pointers for six points.
• Sophomore Aden Hathaway dished out three assists.
