Wiswary scores career-high 21 points, men’s basketball team picks-up road win against Kalamazoo
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Senior Noah Wiswary scored a career-high 21 points, as the Olivet College men’s basketball team posted a 73-56 win over Kalamazoo College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) contest today at the Anderson Athletic Center.

- Following a 5-5 deadlock four minutes into the game, the Comets made a three-pointer on back-to-back possessions. The Hornets got two free throws before another Olivet trey made the score 14-7 at the 15:58 mark. Kalamazoo scored five straight points to cut its deficit down to two points, 14-12. Olivet answered with a 17-5 run for a 31-17 lead with 6:32 left until halftime. The Comets kept the offensive pressure and led by 16 points, 39-23, at the break.
- In the second half, Olivet stretched its lead to as many as 21 points, 73-52, with two minutes left when sophomore Lorris Upshaw made a free throw to complete a three-point play.
- For the game, the Comets were 25-of-56 (44.6 percent) from the floor, including 14-of-31 (45.2 percent) from behind the arc. The Hornets were 18-of-64 (28.1 percent) overall, and 10-of-38 (26.3 percent) from three. Olivet out-rebounded Kalamazoo, 44-36, and finished with a 12-1 edge in blocks.
