Men’s basketball team loses to Heidelberg, 89-64
TIFFIN, Ohio – The Olivet College men’s basketball team lost to Heidelberg (Ohio) University, 89-64, this afternoon at the Seiberling Gymnasium. The game was the final game of the Ron Linhart Memorial Classic. For his efforts, senior Tevin Ali was selected to the all-tournament team.

TIFFIN, Ohio – The Olivet College men's basketball team lost to Heidelberg (Ohio) University, 89-64, this afternoon at the Seiberling Gymnasium. The game was the final game of the Ron Linhart Memorial Classic. For his efforts, senior Tevin Ali was selected to the all-tournament team.

- Records: Olivet 1-1 overall, Heidelberg 1-1 overall
- After Olivet led 4-2, the Student Princes scored 26 straight points over the next six minutes and 42 seconds to go up 28-4. The Comets chipped away at their deficit to close the gap to six points, 35-29, with 2:37 left before halftime. Heidelberg put the final 12 points on the scoreboard in the opening half to lead 47-29 at the break.
- In the second half, Olivet cut the Student Prince lead down to eight points, 55-47, after Ali made two free throws at the at 14:18 mark. The Comets were not able to draw any closer for the rest of the game.
- Senior Ryan Robinette led Olivet with 18 points.
- Ali posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
- Senior Derrick Johnson contributed 12 points.
- Seth Hohman and Emmanuel Perdue each scored 17 points.
- Tim Watkins finished with 11 points.
- Perdue grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
- The Comets return to Ohio next Saturday, November 19, to play Capital University at 1:30 p.m.
