McClary brothers lead men’s basketball team to a 65-63 win over Alma
Brandon McClary and Michael McClary (Bellaire) each posted a double-double to lead the Olivet College men’s basketball team to a 65-63 win over Alma College tonight at the Upton Center in Olivet. The win snapped the Comets’ (6-15, 2-9 MIAA) four-game losing streak.

In addition to his 16 points and 10 rebounds, Brandon had a game-high six blocks. Michael scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Off the bench, senior Jeff Cooper (Dowagiac) scored eight points and grabbed five rebounds.
The Scots (2-18, 2-9 MIAA) were led by Venias Jordan with 17 points. Jordan Redditt joined him in double figures with 14 points. Ryan DeHaan and Ted DeYoung pulled down six rebounds a piece.
Olivet is back in action Saturday when it travels for a 3 p.m. game at Tri-State (Ind.) University.
