Kwame Sutton is in his first season as the defensive line coach at The University of Olivet in 2025.

Sutton joins the UOlivet staff after serving as the assistant tight end coach at Limestone (S.C.) Unviersity for two seasons. Prior to that, he was the football operations student assistant at Ohio University during the 2023 campaign.

Sutton began his collegiate playing career at Austin Peay State (Tenn.) University from June 2018-May 2013. He started more than 30 games and was a 2019 and 2022 All-Conference selection on the defensive line. Sutton finished his career at Ohio University for his final season in 2023, and played in 10 games and was named the preseason Mid-American Conference Newcomer of the Year.

Sutton earned a bachelor’s degree in applied exercise science and master’s degree in performance enhancement and coaching from Austin Peay.
