Ed Reny is in his first season as the assistant head coach at The University of Olivet in 2025. He will coach the offensive line and tight ends, as well as serve as the recruiting coordinator.

Reny comes to Olivet after being on head coach Erik Ieuter’s coaching staff at Muskingum (Ohio) University since April 2020. He coached the offensive line and tight ends, as well as served as the strength and conditioning, and run game coordinator. Prior to that, Reny spent one season as the tight ends coach at Valparaiso (Ind.) University. He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Wayne State University for two seasons.

In December 2016, Reny earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from WSU and in May 2019, he completed a master’s degree in business administration from WSU. Reny was a four-year letterwinner on the Warriors’ football team from 2012-16.

Reny is married to his wife, Patricia, and they have a son, Henry, and daughter, Sophie.
