Bio

Hunter Perry is in his sixth season as an assistant coach at The University of Olivet in 2023. He serves as the co-special teams coordinator and coaches the outside linebackers.

Prior to joining the Olivet staff, Perry coached defensive backs, receivers and served as the special teams coordinator at Portage Central High School. While there, the Mustangs finished the regular season with a 7-2 record and earned a berth to the Michigan High School Athletic Association playoffs.
 
From 2015-16, Perry was the special teams analyst/quality control coach for NCAA Division I Western Michigan University, working under head coach P.J. Fleck. The 2015 team posted an 8-5 record, including a 45-31 win over Middle Tennessee State in the Popeye's Bahamas Bowl. The 2016 Broncos captured the nation's attention, winning 13 straight games, including the MAC Championship before falling to Wisconsin, 24-16, in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.
 
Perry spent the 2014 season as an assistant defensive coach at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek.
