Bio

Warren Maloney is in 10th season as the associate head football coach at The University of Olivet in 2023. He serves as the defensive coordinator and coaches the inside the linebackers. Maloney is also the academic coordinator for the program.

Before joining Olivet's staff, he served as the defensive coordinator at University of Saint Francis (Ind.) from 1997-2012. Maloney was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Assistant Coach of the Year in 2005 and 2008. During his time there, he coached 31 All-Americans and 81 All-MSFA selections, including the NAIA National Player of the Year twice and the MSFA Defensive Player of the Year twice.

Before coaching at Saint Francis, Maloney coached the offensive line and linebackers at California University (Pa.) from 1994-96. He began his coaching career as the high school level, coaching at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, Fla., from 1985-94 and Northeastern High School in Fountain City, Ind., from 1983-84.

Maloney earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish from Franklin (Ind.) College in 1983. He was a three-year starter under College Football Hall of Fame head coach Stewart "Red" Faught.

Maloney lives in Fort Wayne with wife, Kristi.
