Wilkowski selected director of esports at UOlivet
OLIVET, Mich. – Athletic Director Haley Diringer has selected Kyle Wilkowski to be the next director of esports (short for electronic sports) at The University of Olivet (UOlivet).
"I am excited to have Kyle join the Comet athletic staff as our new director of esports," said Diringer. "He brings some great knowledge of esports to Olivet and I look forward to the future of our program under Kyle's leadership."
Prior to joining the UOlivet staff, Wilkowski served as the interim director of esports at Ferris State University (FSU) since January 2024 and an adjunct professor of esports at Phoenix (Ariz.) College since August 2023. He also worked with esports programs in both London and Newcastle, England.
Wilkowski earned a bachelor's degree in integrated studies from FSU in 2023. He is currently working on a master's degree in career and technical education at his alma mater. While at FSU, Wilkowski was part of the esports team, including a part of on the executive board and coach of the League of Legends team. He also served the university as a campus tour guide and e-learning student worker.

"My focus will be on empowering and growing our students as athletes and individuals. By blending competitive excellence with personal growth, I look forward to helping our students succeed in esports and beyond, preparing them to become responsible, impactful members of society."
