ALBION, Mich. – The Olivet College baseball team concluded its three-game Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) against Albion College with an 11-1 setback at Champions Field.

- Records: Olivet 3-23 overall, 1-11 MIAA; Albion 6-22 overall, 3-9 MIAA
- The Britons scored one run in the second, third and fourth innings to go up 3-0.
- The Comets pushed across their lone run in the top of fifth.
- Albion answered in the home half of the fifth when it batted around and scored six runs.
- The Britons ended the scoring with a two-run sixth to end the game early due to the 10-run mercy rule.
- Olivet tallied three hits in the game.
- Sophomore Alex Rose had two singles.
- The third hit was a single by senior Sylas Woll.
- Freshman Braden Abbott suffered the pitching loss, giving up seven runs on seven hits, five walks and two hit batters over four and one-third innings.
- Austyn Stephens was 3-for-3 with two runs scored.
- Braeden Emery scored three runs and had two hits.
- Mark Lauro collected two hits, two runs and two RBI in four at-bats.
- Sean Cooper threw the complete game, three-hitter to earn the win. He struck out eight and walked two batters.
- The Comets battle Adrian College in a three-game MIAA series this weekend. The first game of the series is Friday at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet, with first pitch at 4 p.m. A doubleheader will then be played Saturday at Nicolay Field in Adrian, starting at 1 p.m.
