"This was not the way we hoped our season would finish and it is a sad day in Comet country," said Olivet head baseball coach Shebly Dixon. "We are thankful for the contributions of our seniors. Zac Walter was a staple of our pitching staff and grew into a great leader. Tanner Finn worked his tail off and developed into a relaible bullpen option. Jacob Coultas was the perfect teammate and did everything asked of him and more. Elijah Huebner was a constant source of positivity and laughter. They are leaving the program better than they found it.
"We are excited about the future and what lies in store moving forward. While it may not have always showed on the scoreboard, tremendous strides were made in developing the clubhouse culture which will be a bed rock of future success. There are brighter days ahead, full of Red and White success."
